Environmental Policy
Our policy aims to ensure that we use resources responsibly. As in all other aspects of our business, our commitment in this area extends to ensuring that we work only with suppliers who claims standards of responsible business practice that are similar with our own.

We understand, and take seriously, concerns about the detections of pharmaceutical residues in the environment. Like other pharmaceutical companies, we ensure that our suppliers manufacture our products in accordance with strict regulatory requirements (GMP). We currently have no basis for believing our manufacturing supplier’s discharges pose a significant threat to the environment, but we continue to conduct and improve our internal evaluations to identify any potential concerns.

When medicines have to be discarded, patients should have the information they need to do so in an environmentally sensible manner. In the EU we are following the EU Directive recommendation to include a statement on the patient information leaflet about how to handle the waste product.

All employees are involved and informed about the environmental policy. The information on our policy is open and accessible.
